Dear love,
I woke up to a cold morning, but I know with the sun’s rise, warmth will come, and it will extend throughout this week to give us the earth’s embrace that we’ve needed for so long…
It’s been such a long and dark winter. I myself have seen many ups and downs, and while I have embraced them, I do look forward to the shift that is to come.

So many of us run away from the less desirable seasons. Always wanting more, always waiting for what comes next. But remember each day to embrace the present moment with gratitude. It is here to teach us something, and there is much that we can draw from it. The creator works in mysterious ways. Sometimes, we don’t see what blessings are being cultivated for us beyond our eyes' vision. Winter is a time for restoration and healing. It prepares us for the seasons of warmth and beautiful light that is to come.
And so, even in the midst of this cold, dark winter, I have enjoyed myself. As I hope that you have too. I hope that you have taken the time to understand yourself on a deeper level. To embrace everything that is you, from what you perceive to be flaws to what you know are your greatest strengths.
Sometimes, even our flaws position themselves to be strengths.
Love yourself on every level. Love every little inch that is you. Every little quirk and every little ‘flaw’. A blank canvas is perfect, but the moment you put the first stroke, the first pencil's line, or that first little dot…in someone’s eyes, it is not perfect anymore.
So don’t see yourself through the eyes of others - see yourself through the eyes of God.
Who has made you perfect.
I, too, see the beauty that is you.
May this week bless you with everything that you desire and more…
Warmly yours,
Nicole Brittney
To my empowered readers,
We are starting each week with a love letter made especially for YOU.
If you are reading this message, it is meant for you. Far too often, we give love that we may not always receive in return. It might not be out of ill intention, but maybe right now, you are enjoying your journey of healing in solitude and are not romantically involved. Perhaps your romantic partner is not the type to write letters but expresses their love in other ways. Or maybe love letters are just a thing of the past, and not too many enjoy them these days...
Love is a seed that you must plant and water often. You nurture it, consistently so that it continues to grow. In this way, I have been called to nurture you. To give back to you through the gift of words. To remind you of your worth and that you are loved. I write for the betterment of you. I write because God has called me to touch you with the words he has placed on my heart.
I perform this task with honor and will give you the depths of my heart each week.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you. Enjoy your week, knowing you are loved.
